Invitation to JASNC Annual Dinner Meeting

JAASC (Japan-America Association of South Carolina) members have received an invitation from JASNC (Japan-America Society of North Carolina) to attend their first annual dinner meeting on December 2, 2016.

The Japan-America Society of North Carolina (JASNC) would like to invite you to our Annual JASNC Dinner Meeting on December 2, 2016 at the Carolina Country Club in Raleigh, NC.  The event will start at 6pm and include a silent auction.

Originally founded in 1917, the National Association of Japan-America Societies is a private, non-profit and non-political organization consisting of individual and corporate members.  As the 37th chapter of the National Association of Japan-American Societies, JASNC’s mission is to promote US-Japan relations throughout North Carolina by implementing and supporting various events and programs focusing on business, cultural, education and community relations.

We are pleased to announce that our distinguished speaker for our Annual Dinner is Mr. Motoatsu Sakurai, President of the Japan Society and former Ambassador and Consul General of Japan in New York.  Prior to his role as Ambassador and Consul General, Mr. Sakurai served as President and CEO of Mitsubishi International Corporation.

Registration starts at 5:30 pm

Place: The Carolina Country Club

Dress: Black Tie Optional

Parking: Free
Admission: $75 for JASNC members,  $100 Non-members
Silent Auction: Items include two Economy Class ANA round tickets to Japan

Please register and pay for the event by Friday, November 25.

We also welcome any donation for the silent auction.  Should you wish to contribute, please contact us via our email or phone number below.  Our auction items will be announced prior to the Annual Dinner.  Individuals can also participate in the silent auction via our JASNC website should you not be able to join the Annual Dinner.  Payment of all auction items will be due at the close of the Annual Dinner meeting on December 2.
