JAASC Ladies Clubの記念すべき第一回は「生活を彩る芸術」をテーマに川岸千賀代さんに登場していただきます。すでに人形作家としてスパータンバーグ市で個展を開かれたこともある川岸さんをご存知の方は多いことと思います。今回は果物や野菜を彫刻として生まれ変わらせるアートのデモンストレーションとテクニックのワークショップをしていただきます。作品も数点お持ちいただきますのでお楽しみに。これから始まるホリデーシーズンのテーブル飾りの参考になさってください。

簡単なランチを用意いたしますのでゆっくりご歓談ください。

JAASC Ladies Club Event: Nov 22, 2019
Art That Colors Daily Life – Simpsonville, SC
The event will be in Japanese only.

The first event of the JAASC Ladies Club will be led by Chikayo Kawagishi under the theme of “Art That Colors Daily Life”. Many of you may already know Kawagishi-san, a doll artist who held a solo exhibition in Spartanburg. This event will be a workshop demonstrating techniques to transform fruits and vegetables into small sculptures that will be on display for everyone to enjoy. Please consider as a decoration for your table in the upcoming holiday season!

We will prepare a small luncheon reception afterwards.
