令和 2 年は益々女性が活躍する年になると期待されております。JAASC Ladies Club は第２回目の集まりとして、女の子の健やかな成長を願う雛祭りに相応しい講演会を開催致します。日米両語を流暢に使いこなし、本業にボランティア活動に大活躍されている YKK-USA のジェシカ・コーク副社長（Jessica Cork）をお招きして、「輝く女性、日米の架け橋を目指して」と題してお話していただきます。
コーク氏の活躍は弛まぬ努力の結果であるのは勿論のこと、二つの文化の狭間で経験と信頼に裏打ちされた多くの方の協力があったからこそに違いありません。日本で復職予定の方、アメリカで就活希望の方、ボランティア活動を経験したい方、娘さんの進路を検討中の方など是非ご出席ください。女性が輝く時、男性の理解と支援は不可欠です。男性の皆さんにもご参加いただけたら幸いです。

It is expected that the second year of Reiwa will be an even more active year for women. As our second gathering, JAASC Ladies Club will host a lecture that is suitable for the Hinamatsuri celebration which wishes for the
healthy growth of young girls. We have invited Vice President of YKK-USA, Jessica Cork – who is fluent in both English and Japanese and is very active in volunteering – to be our keynote speaker. She will speak on the topic, “Successful women, aiming to be a bridge between Japan and the United States.”
Cork’s success is, of course, the result of her diligent efforts, and must have been the result of the cooperation of many people, backed by experience and trust, between the two cultures. If you are planning to return to work in Japan, are job hunting in the US, want to volunteer, or are considering the future of your daughter(s), please consider attending! When women shine, men’s understanding and support are essential. We hope that men will also be interested in participating!
