You’re invited!

The Japan America Association of South Carolina (JAASC) would like to welcome you to the 2018 JAASC Annual party which will be held at the Poinsett Club on Saturday, January 27, 2018.

As one of the main social events the JAASC Cultural Committee organizes annually, this is a unique opportunity to meet with the leaders of the Japanese business community. We have extended our Japanese (sushi and traditional appetizers) reception to allow more time to socialize.

We will have a chaperoned children’s room with food, TV/”G” movies, and games — provided for a nominal fee. We hope you will join us!

Adult (16 or older): $60/person (JAASC Member)
Adult (16 or older): $70/person (JAASC Non-member)
Child under 16: $5/person

※ We are renting a room for the children. There will be pizza, complements of Papa John’s, DVD’s (G or PG rating), and games for children. Several college and high school students are scheduled to chaperone the children. Also, please inform us of any food allergies prior to the event.

5:15 pm – 6:45pm Social Hour (Sushi, Japanese style appetizers, and cash bar)
5:15 pm – 6:40pm Silent Auction
7:00 pm – 8:30pm Dinner

5. RSVP

Please complete one “2018 JAASC Annual Party Registration Form” per company or organization and e-mail by January 5, 2018. Fee (Check: Payable to JAASC) must also be mailed by January 05, 2018. Seats are limited, so please register as soon as you can.

6.1 Event Sponsors

6.2 Donations

The New Year’s party is put together using JAASC’s cultural committee budget and we would welcome any contributions in addition to above sponsorships. We truly appreciate any support you can provide.

Please send your check to the address above (in section 5) with the check. Please include the amount of donation on the registration form and indicate on the check “Donation to Annual Party”.

6.3 Silent Auction to support JAASC

The proceeds from the silent auction directly support the Greenville Saturday School for Japanese students. This school helps the Japanese students in the Upstate stay up-to-speed with their home country curriculum. We would welcome any contributions to support our silent auction. We truly appreciate any support you can provide.
