Membership is open to everyone who wishes to support our mission of utilizing meaningful exchange to promote understanding between the people of Japan and South Carolina.

Annual JAASC memberships are available at several levels to meet your needs.

- Individual ($60)
- Family ($90) – up to 4

Your annual membership contribution and donations directly impact our activities offered in the state. Your membership will maintain our operations, provide funding for the Japanese Language schools, and allow us to partner with and host unique cultural engagements and opportunities for the public.

JAASC supports the extensive Japanese investment in South Carolina by creating an environment for businesses and organizations to thrive in our community. Membership involvement in our organization shows that your company prioritizes social governance and investing in the local and international community and the global economy.
As a corporate member of JAASC, you will make contacts with professionals who may become valuable for your business, development, or your professional career. At our events, we engage the corporate community with local and regional government representatives and leaders, legal counsel, support services, and business partners or competitors.
Corporate Membership
Annual JAASC corporate memberships are available at several levels.
Corporate Level
- Up to 6 employees may be added to the company’s membership account.
- All added employees will be included in the newsletter distribution.
- Discounts for paid events offered to all listed employees and their families.
- Inclusion in the Membership Directory.
- Guaranteed invitation to Shinnenkai – Japanese New Year’s Banquet.
- Invitations to charity golf tournaments.
Patron level (In addition to Corporate Level benefits)
- Up to 10 employees may be added to the company’s membership account.
- Guaranteed invitation to charity golf tournaments.
- Inclusion in the Membership Directory with logos.
- Recognition on our website and annual newsletter update with logo.
Sponsor level ( in addition to patron level benefits)
- Up to 15 employees may be added to the company’s membership account.
- Priority seating at JAASC events.
- Recognition at our large events.
