The Government of Japan has decided to award the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette to Mr. Henry M. “Buzz” Burwell.

On April 29th 2023, the Government of Japan announced the 2023 Spring Conferment of Decorations. Within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta, the following individual will receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette for his contributions to interregional exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States.
